Guy Ritchie Guns and Gold

I have two blogs going on right now but don't be fooled this is the one!  How did this happen?...I'm not impressed. It's okay, I've figured it out and I'm thrilled that because I have a few stories that I want to cover.

So I want to talk about gold.  I've been wanting the Cartier gold love bracelet with diamonds I know, I know it's on my wish list.  I was considering having it made by a jeweler? Then that thought had me think about Guy Ritchie's movie Snatch!...There is a part in the movie where two thugs are talking about Guns.  One thug had a Beretta hand gun while the other thug who is still an armature in his thug life has gun but it is a REPLICA Beretta hand gun.

Would I be an amature jewellery wearing woman if I asked a jeweler to make me a replica Cartier Love bracelet? with real gold and diamonds, who's to know the difference?....hmm...thoughts?

Fashion/Trends

Is it me, or is everyone looking the same?...I look around and I everyone emulating everyone else.  I mean I understand that we get messages from the media: TV, Billboards, Magazines....but its becoming mundane. We need more individualism.  Where fashion meets art. Being creative in the expression of yourself, not everyone else.  I see the boots with the tights a heck of a lot.  It is easy and comfortable but BORING!...lets investigate options of self expression.  Fashion is an extension of oneself. EXPAND your MIND. Dare to fail, dare to be different...I dare you not to follow the masses.

HIGH ART

What is High Art?...In my opinion art work presented in galleries that makes us think.  It makes us think ex. "what in good god's name is that suppose to mean?" and if that is the case...maybe that's what High Art is: something that really gets to us either negatively or positively.  If it get any reaction out of us, its a job well done.

Quotes...

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do. ~Leonardo da Vinci
